4、现行的城市化模式存在三个弊端:内容上表现为重增长轻发展,重生产轻生活,城市功能单一;形态上表现为摊大饼模式,注重人口数量的城市化,不注重人口质量的城市化;内涵上表现为“千篇一律”,雷同的城市定位和产业定位。

6、城市规划毕竟不是“过家家”,一旦失败往往会造成生态型灾难,影响城市整体面貌,给城市发展留下永久性创伤。就是推倒重来,也会留下大量的建筑垃圾,浪费大量金钱。所以,在城市发展之初,城市规划必须听取更多声音,以确保其科学有效。

7、对于城市来说,城市不仅包括如土地、道路、湖泊、建筑物等硬资源,还包含涉及自然环境、人文历史、生态要素、居民文化等软资源。增强一个城市综合竞争能力,就是有效地增加城市财富,既增加城市物质财富,又增加城市精神内涵。

8、如果不顾城市自身的特殊条件和机遇,把几个先行一步、卓有成效的城市经验加以“模式化”推广和“克隆”,必将导致一些城市的目标趋同、功能重复、产业同构,形成单一的“千城一面”,最终破坏了城市独特的文化与景观特色。

9、一个城市,一个区域、一个社区、一幢建筑的生命力,就在于它是可以持续发展的,可以与时代一起进步,可赋予更多附加值。

10、在城市规划中,必须处理好建设与继承的关系,在发展中传承历史文化。否则,城市一旦失去历史陈迹,犹如人失去鲜明的个性,得到的利益是暂时的,而遗憾却是永远的。
